Craig,
You mo f--ker; it's great to see that you are a superstar - deservedly
so.
I will never forget the 70 mph, through-the-gears wheelie that you let
me experience when you and Jono (Hare) came over to Ian Castle's house
in Erdington, way back in 1989. We went up to Solihull; half the time
on only one wheel of your GSXR 1100 I seem to recall. You probably don't
remember - but I'll never forget.
I bought a Kawasaki 125 shortly afterwards and passed my test in sunny
Brum. It's a Buell 1125R for me next; I'll stay on two two wheels, but
I'll be smiling all the time knowing you only prefer one.
Well done for your outstanding achievements - what smiles you bring;
sunshine through the spokes of a wheel.
Conrad.

Hi Craig, I don't
know if you'll remember me, it's
Martin Best, I did Track Attack Premier
at Donington and was working with
Harleyworld in Chesterfield.....we
met a few times at various Buell
events and also at Donington.
Are you stil involved with Buell?
I see they are bringing out a new
1125R, have you had a chance to
ride it? If so, what's it like?
Is it much better than the old
bike and is it worth buying one.
More importantly would it be any
good for Track Days or Racing?
I hope you are keeping well and
life is being good to you! Cheers
in advance.
Martin
Hi Martin.
I do remember you. Of course
I am still with Buell. Who else
would be crazy enough to have
me !! I was involved at the later
stages with the new 1125R regarding
all press photography and images.
It is exactly what so many have
been waiting for. To summarise,
it is a more refined version
of the Buell concept as we know
it. It is faster, smoother, with
a slicker gearbox, more stopping
power. It still maintains the
great handling and engine delivery
characteristics of a Buell and
looks great. Get a test ride
as soon as you can.
Craig.

Hello Craig, my
name is Yoree Washington. I'm not
going to beat around the bush here,
I really admire the skills, talents
and personality traits you are said
to have. It would be an honor to
meet you. What I would really like
to ask is what do I do to become
a Buell stunt rider? Stunting on
any bike would be great, but I own,
and love my XB9 and my opion is no
other bike can compare if you want
total control...thats fast or slow...nose
diving or nose to the sky! I'm ready
to be mentored if some one is willing
to be the mentor! I'm anxiously waiting
on your response, thanx! (hopefully
i didn't come off the wrong way mentioning
that I'm looking for a mentor. Buells
just make me feel like a kid at the
store, as I wait on this dream as
humble as possible. Maybe you know
of some one who could give me some
direction?)
Yoree,
if only I could stop by
places in the world and
give tuition. My problem
these days is that I am
very busy around the world
with many shows and internal
Buell projects. I have
developed an academy where
I help to improve your
skills in all areas of
motorcycling. This academy
is in its early stages
and it may be some time
before I can begin to tour
around the world with it.
So far I have managed to
pilot it in South Africa,
Denmark, Italy, UK, Holland.
I do plan to come to the
States in the future. For
now just keep practicing.
Take care,
Craig.

What belt you used
? (11mm,14mm) How many belt you change
in summertime ?
I just buy xb9s and i wheelie couple day and belt go broke.
Then i buy new belt, and same
shit happen again. Belt broke again :( Can you help me ? Buell is xb9s
-04. 11mm. belt.
Maybe i put chain ? or what.
Jani from finland
Jani, it
is not normal for belts to break
like this. I run my Buell XB12s
stunt bikes on standard belts
and have done since they were
launched in 2002. I can only
suggest the following ...
1. Check the front and rear pulleys for damage or sharp edges.
2. Make sure that a new belt is fitted correctly. This means that belt
guards must first be removed so that the belt is only worked in one plane.
It must never be forced sideways or twisted because this can permanently
damage the belt creating a weak point.
3. Make sure that your dealer has supplied you with the most up to date
belt and not a rogue old stock belt.
Converting
to a chain is NOT the answer.
If problems persist then you
must ask your dealer to help
you to solve this without question.
I hope you solve this problem.
Craig.

Hello Mr. Jones,
My name is Richard Carolli. Although I'm not a radical rider
like yourself, I do ride hard and fast! In September 2004, I
rode my 2003 Buell Lightning XB9S From Prince Rupert, B.C. To
Virginia; Over 4000 miles! It performed flawlessly! It now has
15,000+ miles on it, and is still running strong! If I could
compare the bike to a breed of horse, I would consider it to
be a cross-breed of an American Clydesdale and an Arabian!!
Bold and agressive, but yet extremely agile and elegant! So,
if your viewers and fans want to see the pictures, just let
me know. And for those of you who read this, I suggest that
you take the 125 mile ride between Skagway, Alaska And Whitehorse,
Yukon Territory! I am here to tell you that, the only other
place on the planet where you can find scenery like that, is in Scotland or
New Zealand! Find out for yourself!!
So,in closing, I wish you all Godspeed and long life!!
Sincerely,
Richard Carolli
P.S. Craig rules on the stoppies, wheelies and everything else
in our wet delusions of grandure...
Or is it just me? :-( |

Hey
there Craig.
Really great show on Saturday, up at Gearotek. You really are one hell of a rider.Im
a buell owner my self and love everything about my bike and have slowly been
trying to do more on it, as in stoppies and wheelies.I unfortunatly dumped my
bike 3 weeks before the show on Saturday, doing a stoppie by the way.I arrange
alot of the Sunday rides for Buell Clearwater, where Jono works and where I bought
my bike.
